Abstract

Design management directly impacts the change in management processes, from the Taylorist administration model, which is hierarchical, to a more flexible model that promotes individual proposals, actions, and risk management. In this article, we present the exploratory research of a Canadian company’s business decisions and project processes from the perspective of all departments involved in the same project flow. Based on data collected from interviews with Design Leads, Researchers, Project Owners, Business Analysts, Front-End Developers, Back-End Developers, and System Architects, in this article we dissert about design management and re-search based on design management maturity scale.
